Sweet Ella

I first met Kristi and David a year or so ago...

(oh how time flies)...

They had Richelle and I photograph their wedding,

and little did we all know

I would be photographing their newest addition as well!

I did a double day shoot with Ella

She is such a sweetie with a great little personality:-)

I think David must have thought

us gals were pretty crazy,

but we couldn't pass up this hat!

I've used it before and just love the shape of it:-)

And lets face it...Ella looks so delightfully darling in it!!!

Okay, so this was another idea I had...

I wasn't sure how it would turn out at the time,

poor little Ella seemed to get swallowed up by tulle,

but she loved it, and the final images were so stinkin cute:-)

Kristi and David have a lot of art work in their house...

and this particular painting is a fav of David's:-)

It was so fitting to photograph the two of them

in front of it, and I have to say the color and texture

are pretty amazing:-)

Only a week old!

Sweet baby Maclin!

I love that I get to work so close to

Allie, Rusty and their new precious baby boy

I've been able to photograph him

several times just in the first week of his life,

and all these moments spent with the Brett family

builds such a great relationship:-)

This is when Maclin managed to catch some Zzzz's.

He dozed off long enough for me to

slip this little hat on and capture some really great images!

Allie and Rusty have this huge rug

it works awesome to photograph on...

and Maclin just looks so precious in this little basket...

This was one of my lil' creative visions!

I LOVE how it turned out:-)

I've known Rusty and Allie a few years now...

They are two great people

who really love and care for each other,

but now they seem so complete with the arrival of their baby

With a new year,

comes a new batch of 'newbies'

and I'm so excited for the months ahead:-)

Once again, congratulations to Rusty and Allie....
